The Eagles will look to earn their 35 th MAC title this season. Leading the Eastern Michigan swim team is 29-year head coach Peter Linn along with 2016-17 diving coach of the year Buck Smith. In pool, the Eagles will return three All-MAC first team recipients including senior Logan Burton along with juniors Tosh Kawaguchi and Jake Tyson. Missouri State has been selected to finish second in the MAC this season and co-favorites to win the MAC Championship. The Bears will return to the pool with 2016-17 MAC Freshman Swimmer of the Year, Antonio Thomas as well as four other All-MAC first team selections.
