I've installed Homebrew, visited King Chaos (), downloaded and installed GDAL, Python 3.6, etc. I've also reviewed many threads with potential answers - this one being the most promising: (but unfortunately ultimately unsuccessful). (also:,, etc.) It seems like most of the guidance on the topic is several years old, and covers other versions of QGIS and MAC OS. I would be grateful if you can share updated guidance on how to get GDB to load and open on Mac OSX 10.12 running QGIS 2.18.
